Aktau International airport implements Amadeus ACUS technology

The third largest airport in Kazakhstan is to implement Amadeus Airport Common Use Service (ACUS) technology.

ACUS is next-generation cloud-based technology, which helps to improve operational performance and customer experience. With ACUS, airlines and ground handlers at Aktau will be able to use the platform from a desktop computer or laptop, enabling passengers to be checked-in from any location. This will afford the airport greater operational flexibility, particularly in response to fluctuations at peak travel times.

ACUS requires a single connection between the airline Departure Control System (DCS) and the ACUS cloud platform, enabling airlines to connect to Amadeus rather than the local airport. This simplified connectivity model results in operational savings for airlines and facilitates the opening of new routes as the time needed to deploy their applications at the airport is reduced.
