German lithium battery manufacturer Colibri Energy has received its fourth order in a row for the electrification of airport apron vehicles at Bangkok International airport.

This means that over the past two years the German battery manufacturer has equipped almost the entire baggage tug fleet (which comprises over 50 vehicles) belonging to ground handling company Bangkok Flight Services with lithium-ion batteries.

Helmuth von Grolman, CEO of Colibri Energy, commented: "The increasing number of repeat buyers such as BFS is particularly pleasing to us. This is not only the best proof of our high product and service quality, it also highlights the technical and economic superiority of the extremely robust, reliable Colibri lithium technology."

Colibri Energy is a leading manufacturer of lithium-ion based high performance batteries for electromobility at airports and has been involved in the supply of lithium batteries for over four years now. GSE has benefited in the Middle East, Asia and North America, as well as in Europe.
