Menzies' fresh approach wins contract

Edinburgh-based aviation services group John Menzies has secured one of the biggest ground handling contracts in the UK.

Under the long term deal with existing customer easyJet, Menzies will handle over 24,000 turnarounds a year at Luton.

Menzies said that the contract was recognition of its renewed and innovative approach to the relationship with easyJet.

Speaking for the carrier, Karen Cox, Director of Ground Operations & Customer Management Centres for easyJet, added:

"Menzies have refreshed their approach to working with easyJet and recognised the need for a culture of continuous improvement. I am confident they will deliver the customer experience we desire for all our passengers passing through this key base."
