Last week the new Carlsberg Aviator Lounge opened at Copenhagen airport.

However, instead of just addressing business-class travellers, the new Carlsberg Aviator Lounge will be open to all travellers, since it has been developed in line with Carlsberg's philosophy surrounding the beer experience.

“Today, it is no longer enough to service business-class travellers. Many other travellers want to sit comfortably and enjoy good food and drink before travelling. Therefore, everyone must be welcome in the new Carlsberg Aviator Lounge. At the same time we wanted a lounge created in line with Carlsberg's mindset to constantly do better and be more sustainable.” So commented Lars Wrist-Elkjær, Managing Director of Aviator Denmark.

In addition to the gastronomic and architectural experience the lounge also offers innovation in the shape of the furniture. The chairs are created in a recyclable plastic material and the tables have been fashioned from recycled material from Carlsberg's beer kegs.
