Meet & Greet service rolled out at Chennai airport

After setting up a facility for premium passenger handling at Cochin International, the Airports Authority of India has announced that it has contracted GlobeGround India for Namaskar: Meet & Greet services at Chennai airport.

From September 1, GlobeGround India has been offering customised premium ground handling services for passengers at Chennai. With this announcement, the group is looking forward to providing high standards of service and customer satisfaction to passengers travelling both to and from Chennai airport.

Namaskar Meet & Greet services aims to provide passengers with a first class experience through its comprehensive range of customised passenger handling services. These include assisting in clearing airport formalities and escorting to check-in and immigration counters; providing porterage services to unaccompanied minors, elderly, sick and physically challenged passengers; assistance in hiring a car, taxi, hotel booking, arranging tickets or transportation from the aircraft to the terminal building; and assistance in the reservation and purchase of tickets.

The company will also provide catering services, arrange conference rooms and the services of the business centre. Any other services customised for traveller requirements will be provided by the agency in co-ordination with AAI. Concierge services will be offered by professionals who are experienced in serving a spectrum of passengers that includes VIPs, corporates, tourists and families as well as solo travellers.
