Christof Peer took up the position of Sales Director Airport Technology at Goldhofer on July 1.

In addition to supporting existing customers, one of his primary responsibilities will be to cater for growing demand for eco-friendly ground handling vehicles. In keeping with the increasing number of emission-free airports worldwide and the need for greater connectivity, he will also focus on positioning Goldhofer as a complete provider of e-mobility and digitisation solutions.

Before joining Goldhofer, Austrian-born Peer was Managing Director of MND Austria. Prior to that, he spent six years with the Swiss Aebi Schmidt Group as Managing director of the Austrian subsidiary Aebi Schmidt Austria and also served a stint as Sales & Service Director for Central and Southern Europe. Peer is also a trained electrical engineer.

“With his high level of professional and social competence, Christof Peer will be able to expand our strong market position on a continuous basis,” said Lothar Holder, CEO at Goldhofer and Head of Airport Technology. “As a practitioner with vision, he will help us to position Goldhofer as an accomplished solution provider for the airports of the future.”

Christof Peer commented: “Together with my team I am very much looking forward to serving our customers in the development, implementation and operation of sustainable airport infrastructures.”
