GHI’s Pride of Ground Handling Awards – celebrating ground handling excellence across the world and the people who make it happen – are now open for entry.

ix categories are available for entry including an all-new new Best SME category to acknowledge the pivotal role played by smaller sized handlers in facilitating the safe, on-time transit of passengers and cargo.

The aim of the Pride of Ground Handling Awards showcase is to hit back against the myth that ground handling is simply a race to the bottom on price and showcase cutting edge innovation.

GHI’s goal is to champion operators across the world who exemplify a commitment to quality, safety, teamwork and innovation.

Categories include Best Station (cargo and pax); Unsung Heroes; Ramp Safety Award; GSE Innovation; Sustainability Award and Best SME.

The deadline for submissions is 30 September. Winners will be announced at a free-to-attend online awards ceremony on 26 October with the class of 2022 receiving their trophies at a special service at GHI’s 23 Annual Conference in Dublin on 15-17 November.

So, if you believe that ground handling is much more than a race to the bottom on price.

If you are proud of your station teams and their achievements.

Or if you love working in the industry and want to inspire the next generation onto the apron….

GHI wants to hear from you! Click here to start your entry
