The impact of skills shortages on safety, OTP and service quality on the apron will be under the spotlight at GHI’s 2nd Leaders Academy in Istanbul over February 5-6.

GHI will reveal the results of an exclusive research paper examining the operational impact of high levels of attrition in ground handling. The report will reveal which job positions at the station are the hardest to fill and ask which non- financial measures could be implemented to help operators reduce the turnover of frontline teams.

The findings will be assessed by business leaders at Swissport, Celebi Aviation and dnata at the Leader’s Academy’s opening Big Debate.

The conference will also feature presentations from industry leaders on boosting recruitment and retention, building high performance teams, digital enablers for the workforce and embedding a Just Culture. Click here for the full programme

Further, delegates will enjoy a Day Two tour of Celebi’s ground handling operation at the new Istanbul airport.

Attendance is recommended to all aviation business leaders from ground handlers and airlines.

This event is specifically relevant to Ground Operations Directors/Managers, Ramp Managers, Station Managers, Ramp Services Operations Managers, Safety Managers, HR Managers, Head of Airside Operation and Ramp Supervisors.
