Swissport finalises Aerocare deal

Swissport International has successfully concluded the acquisition of Aerocare.

The takeover was finalised on March 7, with the Swiss company now holding 100% of the shares of the principal ground handling operator in both Australia and New Zealand.

The acquisition of Aerocare includes its subsidiaries Skycare, Carbridge and EasyCart from Archer Capital, along with the Aerocare management. The acquisition of Aerocare, which was actually first announced in November 2017, has now received all regulatory approvals, including that of Australia’s Foreign Investment Review Board.
