Universal Weather and Aviation and China’s Capital Jet have signed an agreement to work together to enhance service levels for business aviation operations at Beijing Capital airport.

CJET is the only authorised ground service and customer passage provider for private aviation in and out of ZBAA, as well as the greater Beijing metropolitan area. Through the agreement (which goes into effect on December 1), Universal Aviation China will provide ramp ground handling within CJET’s FBO at ZBAA, the airport’s lone FBO.

“The combination of our local expertise, award-winning ground handling service and safety standards with CJET’s experience and commitment to improving business aviation infrastructure will help reduce our clients’ risk and stress when operating to Beijing,” declared Greg Evans, Chairman, Universal. “We look forward to developing training and information sharing programmes with CJET that will further advance and ease the business aviation operating environment throughout China.”

Universal has had a presence in mainland China for more than two decades.
