JBT's latest Ranger cargo loader is available in an all-electric, 7,050 kilogramme capacity configuration.

Powered by 48 kWh lithium-ion batteries, the electric Ranger provides reliable, low maintenance operation with no emissions and lower operating costs. The Ranger is easy to operate, with front axle leaf spring suspension for smooth driving and the well-established HeliRoll conveyor system for easy container handling on the main deck. The Ranger is also designed for higher speed operations (up to 15 mph) to facilitate multi-gate operations and quick aircraft turns.Aircraft Proximity Detection assists operators while approaching the aircraft to reduce any chance of aircraft damage.

All Ranger loaders are easy to maintain thanks to side-mounted, fold-down panels that allow easy access to all maintenance components, electrical systems and hydraulic units.Troubleshooting is made simpler with JBT’s PDM assisted diagnostics.

Most of the FMC loaders that I have seen with
Dnata and at menzies have varied defects which
Makes the operators life even harder the biggest
Headache a operator has also when he had two
Problem a defective FMC loader and make it
Worse a defective loading /unloading drive
System of the aircraft .
Majority of the FMC’s operating need to be
Taken out of service at Heathrow due to
Many defects and I would welcome companies
Like dnata , menzies , ASC , GH London , colbat,
Swissport to take a look at this state of the
Art FMS . With present covid 19 ground handling
Companies don’t have enough cash to buy
New fmcs and carry on using old clapped out
FMCS were to need to get an aircraft off loaded
And on loaded quickly with efficiency and it does
Not happen because the loader is not working
Probably. This adds to the time factor we’re you
Have to find another FMC to replace the one
Which faulty .., there are occurrences were the
Machine brecks down on the aircraft and
Machanics need to be called out therefore delays the loading /offloading of the aircarft
